You may not know this if you’re a current resident, but visitors often get mixed up when it comes to Surrey’s wonderful community of Clayton.

“Is it called Clayton Heights, Clayton Hill, East Clayton, or just Clayton?” “Can I buy a newer property here?”

As a real estate agent and current Clayton resident, I feel a strong sense of public responsibility to share my community and area knowledge— in hopes that you’ll make an informed decision when buying or selling. So here it goes…

The original subdivision in the City of Surrey consisted mainly of mature single-family homes and 1 acre real estate properties. This subdivision was known as Clayton Heights and also referred to as Clayton Hill.

One of the things I love about most living in Surrey is that we’re dedicated to reducing waste and keeping unnecessary items out of the landfill. This should come as no surprise, since British Columbia is one of the highest scoring provinces for environmental progress!
