Clayton Real Estate is located north of Cloverdale and south of Port Kells in Surrey. The Community is bounded on the north by 80 Avenue (Serpentine Road), on the east by 192 Street (Latimer Road), on the south by 64 Avenue (Bose Road) and to the west by 176 Street (Clover Valley Road).
Clayton Hill Real Estate is located along the Surrey/Langley border. Known locally as "East Clayton", the 4,000 homes in Clayton Hill are primarily detached single-family homes, coach and carriage homes, and townhouses. Coach and carriage homes are a unique feature of Clayton Hill: detached garages have extra space built above the detached garages, making them ideal as legal apartment suites to rent out. For those interested in a more rural lifestyle, East Clayton is also home to approximately 300 acreage properties.
Clayton Hill is a growing and vibrant community perfect for young families of diverse backgrounds and age ranges. Many excellent schools can be found right in the neighbourhood including Clayton Elementary, the newly built Hazelgrove Elementary, and Clayton Heights Secondary School. Local families regularly enjoy one of the many community parks, including the popular Clayton Off Leash Dog Park, the Clayton Park and Clayton Community Hall located in the heart of the neighbourhood.
East Clayton is a beautiful part of the Surrey/Langely area. Designed as a sustainable community, the neighbourhood was planned in 2000 and designed to merge residential, commercial and educational land while protecting and enhancing the local environment.
Clayton Hill was developed to include and encourage multiple means of transportation including pedestrian and cyclist traffic. East Clayton homes were positioned facing narrow streets lined with trees to promote neighbourbood interaction and safety. Natural areas and wildlife were preserved and enhanced wherever possible, including stream and bank habitats. Clayton Hill was designed to be a natural, walkable and sustainable community, combining all the elements a family would need in a friendly and environmentally aware setting.
Surrey's East Clayton Community Development Plan was awarded the 1999 BC Energy Award for Green Infrastructure in 1999, the Union of British Columbia Municipalities Excellence Award in 2003 for Planning Innovation, and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Sustainable Community Award for Residential Development in 2006.
As a Clayton Hill Real Estate owner myself, I have an in-depth understanding of the Clayton Hill community and detailed knowledge of the surrounding schools, businesses and recreational facilities.
The major business areas in and around Clayton are along the Fraser Highway and 188th Street in two major plazas which include a huge array of amenities including restaurants, medical and dental clinics, major banks, cafes and pet stores.
Located only minutes away from the Willowbrook Shopping Centre and the amenity-rich Willowbrook Drive area of Langley, living in Clayton Hill has the added perk of being close to everything you need including restaurants and big box stores.
